Dr. Jian Pi is an Acupuncturist and Herborist Certified by New York State Medical Board & NCCAOM and PhD in Oriental Medicine. She has over 25 Years clinical experience in Acupuncture and Herbology. She practices Chinese medicine for the past ten years in the United States. Dr. Pi graduated on 1982 from Traditional Chinese Medical University in China, and worked as a doctor in China over ten years. In 1995, she opened her clinic in New York .

In 1998, the National Institute of Health (NIH) released a consensus statement that acupuncture may help low back pain, osteoarthritis, headache, fibromyalgia, tennis elbow, migraine, asthma, carpal-tunnel syndromes, dysmenorrhea, stroke rehabilitation, chemotherapy related nausea and vomiting, drug addictions, and other conditions that involve chronic pain. In my practice, besides treating the above conditions, I specialize in women's health issues, such as infertility, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PMS, irregular menstruation, polycystic ovaries, mental health (anxiety and depression), pregnancy, postpartum care, and menopause. I use gentle techniques by using high quality disposable needles to reduce any discomfort associated with needling.
