Traditional Japanese Acupuncture. Uniquely
Gentle and Effective. Pediatrics to Geriactrics.
Traditional Japanese Acupuncture is particularly suited to those who are uncomfortable with strong needle stimulus, who are fatigued or otherwise weakened. I have good success with all sorts of pain, with mental/emotional issues, neuroligic problems and sleep issues. I have successful experience with fertility treatment and in treating infants and children. I have taught at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and in seminars sponsored by the Illinois Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I offer a weekly qigong class at my office. When treating an acupuncture point, it is important that there be a sign of effectiveness; this is called the arrival of Qi. A classic description of the arrival of Qi is: "It is as though the wind has blown away the clouds, exposing a clear blue sky". This image conveys the benefit I aim for: a relief from oppression, a sense of clarity, a feeling of well-being. Something unusual: I am present and working with you during the entire treatment. You may well have a little snooze while I work, but I am focused entirely and only on you during our session.

At Lee Acupuncture and Healing Center, Inc. we practice the 4,000 ancient arts of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on a complete system of healing which helps prevent illness, treats many conditions and improves a persons overall health and their sense of well being. TCM and Acupuncture help to relieve symptoms and signs of health problems that are both chronic and acute. It can uncover the underlying "root" cause of those symptoms. Acupuncture and TCM help to activate the natural healing abilities of the body. It can also support and strengthen the body to prevent future disease or illnesses. Acupuncture is a very safe, natural , effective and drug free way to achieve optimal health and maintain it. This ancient medicine revolves around the theory of Qi. If the flow of Qi is disrupted, disease will appear. At Lee Acupuncture and Healing Center you can expect us to listen to what our patients have to say. Our goal is to have our patients leave their session with a great sense of well-being, a feeling of relaxation and relief from their symptoms particularly if they are experiencing pain and anxiety. If the patient has an acute condition, our goal is to give them immediate relief. If the condition is chronic, or one they have had for a long time, our goal is to create a treatment plan to address the root of the problem. Tongue and pulse diagnosis are used as well as other diagnosis techniques. We offer acupuncture, herbal therapies, moxa, tuina, facial rejuvenation, cupping, nutritional guidance, TDP lamp therapy and more. The first visit lasts approximately one and half hours where an in depth intakes is reviewed. Follow up visits last from 30 to 45 minutes. A review of symptoms and an explanation of the TCM pathology is reviewed with the patient.
