Regular and Consistent Shiatsu Treatments Can Become An
Important Part of Preventive Health Care and Treatment
Health Consultant: Health Counseling is a unique, exciting innovation in health and nutrition. As a Health Counselor, I have studied all the major dietary theories and will help you discover what approach works best for you at this point in your life. While most dietitians dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline. No one diet works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals. Ohashiatsu Consultant: Shiatsu refers to a Japanese pressure therapy used to relieve a variety of problems including back pain, neck and shoulder problems, stress, insomnia, digestive problems and fatigue. It is based on traditional Chinese medicine techniques that have been used since ancient times with Japanese innovations. It is a form of bodywork administered by thumbs, fingers, palms, elbows, feet and knees. This technique stimulates the natural healing powers of the body and mind, wherefore symptoms of disease lessen and vitality is regained. By helping with blood and lymph circulation, it maintains and improves muscle tone and healthy internal organ functions. It is believed that Shiatsu can also strengthen the immune system and calm the nervous system which increases resistance to disease and stress. Regular and consistent Shiatsu treatments can become an important aspect of preventive health care as well as treatment for existing symptoms.

Massage for the Body, Mind, & Spirit
The healing systems of many cultures, including our own, use hands-on therapies to soothe aches and pains, and facilitate the body’s own healing powers. At any age, massage has been found to enhance general health and well being. Many of the therapeutic effects of massage recognized by personal and clinical experience have been supported by scientific research. In addition to the commonly known benefits of relaxation, improved circulation, and relief for muscle tension, new applications for therapeutic massage are surfacing in areas relating to mental and emotional well-being, infant care, aging, and other specialized situations. Therapeutic massage can be an important component of your health maintenance. Massage alleviates problem conditions, reduces stress, and complements other health care modalities. At Sacred Elements Massage, owned and operated by Jeanette Ladores, RN, NCTMB, CYT, we work with you to alleviate pain, improve your performance, and reach your wellness goals. All sessions are by appointment only.
