I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in families who have children with special needs. My main focus is on children diagnosed with Autism and associated disorders. I provide family support and counseling services to assist families develop techniques and coping strategies to help form and maintain positive family relationships. As well as therapy, I am an educational consultant who works with teachers and schools developing programs to assist children who have special needs achieve academic success.

This means that I will work with you to complete therapy as quickly as possible. I tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. Drawing from a wide range of expertise & experience, we will collaboratively develop the best therapeutic plan for you. I involve clients actively in the process. Time-sensitive therapy is as brief as possible, but the therapeutic relationship lasts for a lifetime. Depending on the issues addressed, some clients may be in therapy for a few months while others may come for a few years. After completing a segment of therapy, over the years, clients often return for a tune up or to consult about a new issue or life challenge. Each time a client returns, therapy tends to be briefer.
