During a hospital stay many patients experience pain, anxiety, nausea, and sleep disturbance, acupuncture can assist in making the stay in the hospital more comfortable and carry the treatment plan to outside the hospital. Acupuncture has also been proven to be very effective in preparing the patient for surgery and relieving pain after surgery, assisting in childbirth, and as a doula (in-training), I will nurture the unique balance of mind, body and spirit, making your childbirth experience comfortable, in or out of the hospital.
