Finding Hope When Life Feels Out of Control
Everyday problems-as well as family or personal crises-can lead to intense negative emotions. They test your ability to take care of family, relationships, work, and even your own health. But sleepless nights, constant anxiety, despair and angry outbursts aren't permanent. Change is within reach, and you are not alone. I help people suffering from anxiety, depression, anger issues, panic attacks, and in difficult relationships.
In our work together I will help you 1) envision what your life will look like when anxiety, anger and depression are no longer in your way; 2) discover the patterns that have kept you stuck; and 3) how to change these so you feel and live better.
We focus therapy on getting "unstuck." I help you challenge old, harmful beliefs about yourself and the world. And our work together is active; we don't just talk, but also try new ideas that can help heal. Your success will bring feelings of confidence, peace, and a better life.

Bio
Much of my life motivates my interest and passion for being a marriage and family therapist and counselor. As a survivor of chronic illness, a son of immigrants, a step-father, and a business person, I've come to see the special role emotions have in motivating our lives. And I've come to learn how to help my clients come to terms with their intense emotions, so that they can experience their feelings fully while still living their lives the way they choose.
I am so proud and happy to be a part of the journey my clients take when we work together. I am passionate about their potential to be free from self-limiting beliefs and behaviors; from avoiding people, places and things our of fear, dread or depression. And I am honored to help couples who choose to work on their relationships discover that their greatest emotional needs for connection and love can be met with their committed partners.
I hope I can be part of your journey as well.
