Therapy for Individuals, Couples & Children
Hoilstic Trauma Informed Practice
My goal in healing work is to support the natural growth of children, couples and individual adults. I will work with your unique insights and tribulations as an individual or family, so that you can recover from whatever limits you from acting on your own inherent resources and vision.

Chronic stress is considered the root of most physical and emotional illness. So imagine the power of learning to live nourished by life’s potential rather than worried and stressed by projections of fear. Imagine the difference between straightening your back and looking someone in the face with a smile rather than looking down into yourself. Somatic Psychotherapy helps you integrate these kinds of emerging insights into how you approach your life and relationships.
Education/Training
I studied Somatic Psychotherapy at Antioch University. I also completed a three-year certification program in sensorimotor psychotherapy. Additionally I am a teacher of Zhineng Wisdom Healing Qui Gong, an ancient Chinese method of restoring energy and health. I will bring the wisdom of these varied traditions to help you find clarity and emotional stability for yourself and your family.
Bio
Over the past two decades I have completed advanced training in many psychodynamic theories, as well as in the study of child and infant development and sensorimotor psychotherapy for the treatment of trauma. I integrate my understanding of human development and psychological health through the lens of leading contemporary theories, of mental health.

The breath of my background facilitates my success in assisting adults through life’s challenges as well as helping families adjust to the upheavals of life; loss through death change or divorce, as well as with the difficulty of coping with depression, anxiety and PTSD.
