Sandra Bostwick, M.A., Occupational Therapist
The Creative Learning Studios, LLC office has a simple, home-like feel with a spacious waiting room for families, a quiet area for academics, and a therapy gym. Students often think they are going to visit family! A large pillow pile, therapy balls, a vestibular swing, mats, and all sorts of toys are available. In addition, a wide range of music or arts-and-crafts specialty items are on hand for students who want to create. Privacy is assured, with one student seen at a time unless a small group is scheduled.

Bio
Sandra Bostwick has over 25 years of experience, and personally provides sessions for a limited number of students. She offers occupational therapy services for all ages. She specializes in helping bright, capable students who need strategies or intervention in target learning challenges. Her approach works to build on strengths while compensating for weaknesses in those who "learn differently". Her experience does not stop with pediatrics, though. She is an adjunct professor at County College of Morris, where she specializes in learning strategies, college transition, writing skills, organization, stress management, and transitioning modifications from high school into college and career. Her unique coaching approach has also been applied to adults with career challenges. She also offers online assistance for students away at college. She has a BA from Montclair State University in music therapy/education and an MA from New York University in Occupational therapy. She is currently working on her doctorate at Thomas Jefferson University. Sandy is Early Intervention Certified in NJ, completed a pediatric specialization fieldwork, and is trained in The Listening Program. She has lectured in the United States and abroad. Her ideas have been published in national magazines and best-selling books.

Miss Sandy is one of the most innovative occupational therapists I have had the pleasure of working with during my career. She consistently provides child-centered therapy using creative activities and evidence-based strategies to improve function in the students. During the past eight years I have watched Miss Sandy build strong rapports with challenging students and help these children achieve their full potential.

My son has been very successful with the occupational therapy provided by Ms. Sandy Bostwick of Creative Learning Studios.
She has been helping him copy with various challenges since 1st grade and he is now in 9th grade. He has really come a long
way thanks to Ms. Bostwick. The skills she brings to the table are second to none. We really appreciate her and the level of
care my son has received.
I highly recommend her to all ages.

We have had the pleasure of working with…

We have had the pleasure of working with Sandy this summer for our ten year old son. We had been searching for an occupational therapist for a while around the Morris County, NJ area until we found her. Our son made tremendous progress with Sandy, this summer because he enjoyed working with Sandy tremendously. Our interactions with Sandy was very positive in that she kept us appraised of our son's progress and gave us exercises to work on during the week to improve his fine motor skills. Our previous experiences with other OT specialists was that they were too concerned with the business aspect of the business - getting in as many kids as possible without focusing on the needs of the child. Sandy was very different in that she was genuinely interested in focusing on strengthening the skills that our child needed to progress Each week, she would focus on different skill sets while honing in on the old tasks they had worked. I would highly recommend Sandy as a wonderful, OT specialist. She is truly a hidden treasure that many parents are unaware of in this area.
