Are you caught between remorse and fear when it comes to your drinking and drug use? Is your job or relationship in jeopardy? If you need something different give me a chance to help. I offer a unique wrap around service that is a great deal more than weekly individual therapy. My services are based on your needs. I offer individual, family, and group therapy, contact with collaterals (other professionals) secure email and journaling, and phone contact between sessions as needed. Together we will figure out what you need and how to make it happen. I work for you. Your goals with my frame work. You can have a complimentary consultation almost immediately and an appointment for treatment within a few days of your call. I am working 100% remotely on video. Let's talk soon.
Education/Training
My graduate education includes 2 master's degrees. Primary one is from Hunter College School of social work. The secondary one is for counseling MS Ed) from Lehman College. I have advanced training in Motivational Interviewing and Relapse Prevention and a Credential in Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC)30 years experience in Chemical Dependency and mental health treatment including broad experience at different levels of care. I also have advanced training and Certification in Group Psychotherapy (CGP)
Bio
My superpower is seeing the good in people who can't see their own goodness. Treating people with addiction and trauma issues has been a passion of mine, Over the years in agency and then in private practice i found my sweet spot. My ideal day is helping someone heal and watching them learn how to thrive, release, and reimagine their lives.

I provide psychotherapy, with individuals and in groups. I have expertise in relapse prevention. Motivational Interviewing training has taught me to be an excellent listener. I provide supportive therapy, mindfulness training, DBT, CBT, or whatever is the most appropriate treatment for the moment. It will be unique to you and your circumstances. If you need a DWI assessment or treatment for impaired drivers, that is additional service I offer. Looking forward to walking this path with you. Let's talk soon.
