Sometimes we feel unhappy due to chronic stress, family conflict or relationship struggles, loss of a loved one, and/or feeling without a purpose in life. These issues are extremely common; roughly 25% of all adults in the United States experience depression each year. Unfortunately, only 1/3 of adults in emotional distress actually seek professional help, which is surprising considering research has proven repeatedly that psychotherapy will reduce most symptoms as well as improve functioning Over the years, I have helped hundreds of adults and adolescents improve their functioning and happiness by: * Finding new meaning in life and building a spirituality * Teaching communication skills for improving relationships * Increasing control over thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, * Providing emotional support during difficult transitions * Overcoming addiction and preventing relapse.

I obtained a three-year Post Graduate degree in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from the School of Psychotherapy at Regents College in London UK in addition to a MS in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic. I earned a Bachelor of Science at Georgetown University and an MBA from The American Graduate School for International Management. I also earned a Master's of Arts from University of London. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (License MH 10473) a Florida Supreme Court Family Mediator, A Certif. Addictions Professional, and an American Psychotherapy Association Board Certified Professional Counselor I have completed Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing Training approved by EMDRIA.

For more than10 years, I have been helping adolescents, and adults with addiction, depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, trauma, phobias, social skills problems, school issues, relationship problems, anger, and behavioral problemsI worked and trained at several prominent treatment centers and Universities including The Hanley Center, The University of London, The Drug and Alcohol Foundation(UK), A New Day, and Kensington and Chelsea College. Before clinical work as a therapist I had my own company offering cross cultural training and support to families relocating overseas. My clients included McKinsey, Fidelity, British Telecom, Cable and Wireless and Barclays Bank
