Practice Information
Today's hectic world is filled with challenges that can be difficult to navigate on your own. Concerned about your teen's mood, judgment, or behavior? Feeling stuck, dissatisfied, or overwhelmed? Sometimes our typical ways of dealing with problems don't work anymore, or new issues arise that test our ability to cope. I help teens and adults develop strategies to handle life's difficulties. Adults appreciate that I work collaboratively, offering insight and sensitive feedback to promote growth and change. Teens like that I encourage meaningful self-reflection and problem solving around issues at home, school, and with peers.

I help clients harness their strengths, uncover what is bothering them, change self-defeating behaviors, and gain healthy coping skills to enhance their well-being. Teenagers benefit from having a safe space, free from the pressure of teachers, parents, and peers, where they can talk freely about the stresses in their lives. With families I strive to strengthen connections between teens and parents.

Reaching out for help may be easier than you think. Clients who have already taken this step tell me that my non-judgmental and caring approach, and warm sense of humor, help put them at ease.
