When my health problems were not adequately addressed by modern medicine, I looked for other answers. That search led me to Chinese medicine. Today, I am a licensed acupuncturist helping people deal with their health problems using a combination of acupuncture, herbal and Chinese diet therapy, and common sense. Wellness is a combination of taking in the right foods, getting the exercise appropriate for your situation, good sleep, a healthy mindset, and appropriate treatment when life gets you off balance.
I specialize in treating chronic problems and rebuilding health. A few of the issues I regularly treat include adrenal fatigue, fibromyalgia, chemical and environmental sensitivity, Crohn's disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic pain, and stress.
My practice is a partnership with my patients--we work together to analyze each individual's situation and condition. I encourage my patients to take great care of themselves, and when necessary, to build a wellness team to move toward vibrant health. I work with an amazing team in the office, including a chiropractor, NAET practitioner, and massage therapists, and regularly refer to other health professionals when I feel it is helpful. |

| Teresa Green is an acupuncturist licensed by the State of Virginia. She is a Diplomate of the National Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She has held a certification in Zen Shiatsu from the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA). Her Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin includes over 3000 hours of training in acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Shiatsu and Asian Medical Theory. |
