This is a warm friendly office. We do not have a glass window in the reception office. During a course of treatment the patient will receive many of the services described below. Physical examination: An initial examination which includes a careful history, examination,range of motion testing and orthopedic examination. Report of findings: A review of the findings of the physical examination. Spinal manipulation Adjustment: This is a specific adjustment of vertebrae (spinal bones) that are dysfunctional and causing imbalances of the muscles, joints and nerve responses. Flexion Decompression: A special technique especially affective for pain related to spinal disc involvement. Electrical stimulation: Electrical stimulation is used at the site of muscle tissue injury to reduce swelling, inflammation and muscle spasm. Ultrasound: This consists of high frequency sound waves reducing inflammation and swelling of soft tissue, especially injured joints, tendons, and ligaments. A combination of ultrasound and electrical stimulation: This is used to locate and break up trigger points which are an accumulation of chemicals that keep the muscles in spasm. Diagnostic testing: During the course of treatment it may be necessary to refer you for additional diagnostic procedures such as MRI, CT scan X-ray or referral to another specialist.
