Boston Speech Language Pathology & Literacy Services is a private practice that provides tutoring, therapy, and assessments at your home. Services include: Reading assessments, reading tutoring, Spanish or English speech-language assessments, and accent modification. * Reading Assessments include testing that will determine your child's reading levels including age and grade equivalents, areas of strengths and needs, as well as recommendations. Reports will be furnished approximately four weeks from date of last testing session. * Reading Tutoring: Tutoring typically takes place one time per week in your home (within the Greater Boston area) or during school vacations. * Speech-Language Assessments: Evaluations can be conducted in English, Spanish, or both. A determination will be made as to whether the communication difficulty is due to a language difference or language disorder and disorder will be described in relation to which communication modalities are affected. * Speech-Language Therapy: Services include articulation therapy and language therapy and can be provided in English or Spanish.

Now offering telehealth, home and community visits. I am a functionally based SLP who helps individuals with cognitive, speech, language and voice difficulties improve their skills and independence. I work with individuals and families in their homes, local community or an office space I use in Boxford. My location has always varied based on client goals, preferences and skills. So for example, if someone wanted to improve being able to be heard over a noisy setting we may meet at a local coffee shop. If a family member wanted to participate or if my client was looking for support in home organization, then I’d go to their home. I prefer working in the setting we are hoping to impact. I also offer wellness check-ins at 6, 9 or 12 months to identify potential areas of decline and support addressing them before they become a bigger problem.

As an educational advocate, I help parents navigate the special education system. This includes advising and helping parents obtain appropriate classroom and school placements and ancillary services such as speech, occupational and physical therapies and augmentative communication services. I also attend IEP meetings, mediation and hearing. I can interpret clinical evaluations for parents.I am trained as a parent consultant through the Federation for Children with Special Needs and as an educational advocate through Wright’s Law Boot Camp. As a speech-language pathology I evaluate and treat children, adolescents and adults within a highly supportive and attentive environment.
