Couples & Marriage Counselor
Do you ask yourself... Why is it that I am unhappy most all of the time? Why is it that I am so tired and do not seem to be motivated to do anything? Why do I seem to worry about everything no matter how small? Most people who seek counseling feel that they do not have control over their lives. Does This Sound Like You? I work collaboratively with people in a warm, supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere while providing them with the tools to achieve the kind of control that lets them be in charge. Counseling is a journey and it will take time and effort. I welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your concerns/issues/needs. The feedback that I have received so far from people is that when they leave my office they have a clear idea of what they need to do to improve their situation/circumstances. With energy and enthusiasm, I specialize in helping struggling relationships (infidelity, adultery, communication problems and internet issues) , depression and moods swings/anxiety, relationship difficulties, anger and stress/pain management, career development, adjustment to life changes, GBLT concerns, and grief and loss. My ultimate goal is to help people lead a more satisfying, conscious, and authentic existence. Call Today To Schedule YOUR 15 min. FREE Phone Consultation...

Being Who You Are While Becoming Who You Want To Be
At Foothill Services, LLC, we work with two specific therapeutic disciplines: Counseling and Massage. Our modality in Counseling is primarily Depth Psychology. Here, we discuss your target issues and find underlying behavioral patterns. Then, through the process we dive deep into catalysts that have impaired your life and your possible unawareness to issues that have been unresolved in life. But we do not leave you there! Absolutely not! From there, we help you nurture that catalyst and find fulfillment, peace, and joy through renewing and redirecting your life. Ultimately, your emotions will focus, and your behaviors will follow. And, during all this time you will enjoy routine massage from another trained and licensed therapist. By the time therapy has become a success, you will have become who you have always wanted yourself to be while knowing you always stayed exactly who you are, wondering how it happened and being happy you contacted our clinic!

Marriage Rescue Retreats for Couples in Crisis
93% Success Rate
We specialize in Intensive Marriage Rescue Retreats (also known as “ Marriage Intensives”), 2-5 day down-in-the-trenches events that are aimed at completely restoring, fixing and healing marriages in crisis. We are caring, non-judgmental Christian Marriage Counselors who specialize in helping fix relationships that have reached their breaking point and doing our best to help save marriages in crisis. We have a 93% success rate and know there is hope to heal your hurting marriage One unique quality is that our retreats are always private — just you, your spouse and your Counselor. Couples with marriages in crisis need 100% of their Counselor’s time, energy, and focus. This allows the Counselor to focus on specific issues rather than dividing the time among other couples’ issues in a group setting. We offer 2, 3, 4 and 5-day retreats and can make suggestions as to how many days we feel would be best for your situation after a brief phone consultation. But it’s always up to each individual couple how many days they want to spend at the Retreat. Contact us for more information about the different Retreats we offer and which may be right for you.

Mental Health Counselor / Therapist

Current practice includes play therapy with children & families in an outpatient private practice setting. I use a cooperative parenting model with divorcing families. I have previous experience on a crisis team, as well as child/adolescent/family work in agencies in VA & NC. I have facilitated groups in schools. I work from a child developmental perspective, and see children as young as 3 years old. I can easily refer clients to a therapist who may have different skills or a specialty niche (ex: treating autism or couples therapy) because I belong to several therapy networking groups. I participate in the "Give An Hour" program available to military veterans. I rent office space to a small number of therapists, and offer LCSW supervision on an individual basis. Renters and supervisees are responsible for establishing their own caseloads.

Counseling for Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Families
Clients often pursue counseling because of specific issues or because life has become more stressful and difficult as their previously used coping skills begin to fail. Past issues, losses, traumatic events, and present day transitions factor in to create struggles and issues that need to be worked through successfully. I believe that in working together as a team to find new, more constructive coping skills, the client can move from just surviving to actually thriving in their day-to-day environments, finding contentment, peace, and joy in and from life once again. I employ play therapy in my work with children as young as three years of age, as well as the use of other psychoeducational and therapeutic activities with adolescents, adults and families to help them make the needed changes. I am also Board Certified as a Professional Christian Counselor and incorporate Grace-Based Biblical Counseling in my work with families.
