Tired of Feeling Sad, Anxious, Worried, Angry or Stuck?

Tap Into Your Inner Wisdom to Live and Love Life Fully

I offer individual, HIPAA-compliant telehealth counseling sessions to residents of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho who are age 18 and older. Sometimes life does not look or feel like what you had in mind for your future. Perhaps you or someone you love just received a cancer diagnosis. You may be grieving the death of a loved one or the loss of a relationship or job. You may be dealing with health concerns and struggling to remain hopeful about the future. You may feel sad, anxious, angry, worried or stuck or have feelings or thoughts that seem to dominate every waking moment. Or maybe you have forgotten what it feels like to be happy. Counseling can can help! I view therapy as a collaborative process that can help provide insight, direction, and comfort. I believe that each and every one of us has within us an amazing capacity for resiliency and the capacity to change. It is my intent to create a safe space for you to tap into your inner wisdom. I do this through unconditional empathy, listening and understanding. I also draw upon modalities such as CBT and solution-focused therapy. I get that starting therapy can be intimidating. I consider you to be an expert on you and believe that together we can explore your thoughts and emotions in a safe environment with the goal of creating the kind of life you envision for yourself. I look forward to working with you.

Couple and Family Therapy

Marriage Therapy

Dr. Conrad and her team bring a special sense of warmth and understanding to the couples and families they work with using Emotionally Focused Therapy, the most empirically validated and effective treatment for couples today. We at the Couple and Family Institute of Tri-Cities are all trained in this form of treatment. We help couples reduce their distress and find security with each other by going to the heart of the matter, the attachment system of the couple and changing their view of each other in a more loving, accepting, and forgiving way. Couples frequently get caught up in negative patterns that take over their relationship and they lose the sense of love and connection they once had. Couples don't realize that it is the negative dynamic between them that has caused them to lose a sense of their love for each other and belies the love that is really underneath their distress. Using this highly effective (73% success results based on research, 90% improvement) treatment modality, we at CFIT can help couples get out of the distress, see the dynamic that has taken them over, and find their way back to a loving and connected relationship. We are also trained to work with individuals who are in distress with depression or anxiety, or who have experienced traumatic events in their lives and need support and therapeutic help to find their way back to healthy functioning.
