In addition to the mechanics and techniques of competent body work, the massage therapist must be able to create a safe space for the client to heal. This comes from the physical setting that the therapist provides, and, most of all, it is in the way the therapist listens with hands and heart and responds individually, within appropriate boundaries, to the client. Before the massage begins, we will chat briefly about what specifics you are looking for in the massage and the basics of my massage.
