Massage For Your Body's Optimum Wellness
Hi, I’m Carolyn Hoyt. I am a licensed massage practitioner in the state of Washington. I am Nationally Certified and a member of the AMTA. I received my therapy training at the nationally accredited Cortiva Institute for Massage Therapy. I am also certified in Lymphatic Facilitation. In addition to my basic massage services, I can also provide out-of-network insurance and personal injury services. I am also a registered L & I provider. I enjoy all aspects of my work whether the focus is injury treatment, postural adjustment, or general relaxation. My clinic is located in wonderful Carnation, Washington. I love meeting new clients, learning about their health history and personal health goals, and helping them to achieve their goals. Call or email me to schedule an appointment or to ask me any questions you may have about massage. Thanks

The Worries of Daily Life May Gently Fall Away as You Rise
to a Lighter, More Aware and Peaceful Place.
My bodywork practice is all about tuning in, not tuning out. I specialize in whole-person wellness and hold a safe space for the emotional side of bodywork to emerge. I deeply believe in the mind-body connection and find that emotional holdings can reside in the body. I often use a combination of therapeutic massage and Reiki energy work, allowing clients to find their path to healing. Clients often comment on the depth of my work, that is, I can provide a deep tissue therapeutic massage, as well as allow them to go to a deep state of relaxation and/or a deeply emotional place. I tailor each of my sessions to fit the unique needs of my clients, so no two sessions look the same. I meet each client in the present moment and listen deeply — with my ears and my touch — to understand what the body has to tell me.

Healing Through Proper Therapy
After a few years of working for others, I decided to venture out and open my own business… SOUTH KITSAP THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE. It's a 2 person office, where each therapist schedules their own appointments. I am credentialed in most major insurances. My hours of operation are Mon-Sat., but I can work Sundays if needed, I am flexible, I usually work from 8 am with 6:30 to 7 pm being the last eveving appt. I focus on treatment work, Deep Tissue; but I also do Relaxation Massages, Chair Massages, and Hot Stone Massages as well. How Much Water do You Need to Drink? A good estimate is to take your body weight in pounds and divide that number in half. That gives you the number of ounces of water per day that you need to drink. For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, you should drink at least 80 ounces of water per day. If you exercise, you should drink another eight ounce glass of water for every 20 minutes you are active. If you drink alcohol, you should drink at least an equal amount of water. Remember water is the elixir of life.
