Education/Training
All of our therapists are state licensed and have a masters level education in Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally Laura Kohn has been Board Certified in Advanced Clinical Hypnosis, Incorporation Therapy, and Rapid Trauma Resolution. Laura is involved in training other mental health professionals how to use hypnosis with trauma survivors.
Bio
While my credentials label me as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Hypnotherapist I more often like to think of myself as a magician. I help people find and reconnect with the magic and wonderment that always surrounds them. Want to see the world through new eyes? Do you desire to explore the deeper mysteries of life and the cosmos? Want to have a blast while you learn new tools and gain new skills? Then you need someone like me. My first magic trick was to unplug from the mind control of Corporate America that had me stuck in a prestigious job that was slowly killing me. While there are those who can make it work for themselves and dare I say love it, they tend not to be part of my clientele. My clients are looking for more than what a large paycheck can bring and wonder about deeper things than what the reality star du jour is wearing or who they happen to be divorcing next.
I can give you tools, and show you things about your existence that will bring you back to a sense of wonderment and awe. Along the way you'll learn more than a few things and start to see the glass as half full again. I'm also just as intelligent as I am entertaining so an hour with me is well spent.
