Practice Information
You may be seeking help because of an upsetting event in your life, or you may have struggled with a particular issue for a long time. In either case, I'll listen carefully to your thoughts and feelings and help you to better understand yourself and your life situation. There are often patterns in how a person relates to themselves, others, and the world around them. These patterns emerge from your mind's "central organizing principles." If you are unhappy or dissatisfied with some aspect of your life, I'll work with you to address it and help you to feel a greater sense of calm, confidence, and clarity.

I listen carefully to each person's unique needs to help them overcome struggles including depression, navigating work or school life, feeling stuck or isolated, frustrations in relationships, grief, addiction, and trauma. I work with individuals and couples, ages 13 to seniors. Therapy can give you greater self-esteem, confidence, and feelings of control.

Seeking help and taking the first step is often the hardest. I can help you to build new strengths and move into a new space of possibilities for your present and future. Therapy helps you have the life you hope for, a life more vital and joyful, to be the person you want to be.

I use a warm, collaborative, and relational approach that is highly effective in helping people overcome their struggles and achieve lasting change.

My academic background includes a B.S. in Pure Mathematics, a M.S. in Management and Policy, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior. Before becoming a clinician I was a consultant for firms including Simon & Schuster, CIBC World Markets, Kaplan Test Prep, and The College Board.
