Do Your Emotions Get in the Way of Your Life? You Can
Master Your Emotions…You Just Haven’t Been Shown How.
“Do you suffer from physical or emotional pain? Have you been told, "Learn to live with it"? I have shown hundreds of clients how to live without it. Experienced in psychotherapy, NLP and hypnotherapy, I mainly use "energy psychology" techniques that balance body energy and eliminate emotional and even physical pain. I am very skilled with phobias (often resolved in one session), stress and anxiety, traumatic memories and PTSD. Grief and mild/moderate depression are gently resolved. And many of my chronic pain patients (back pain, fibromyalgia, etc.) have reduced or eliminated their pain medications. I like best to work "face-to-face", and I work very effectively with clients world-wide by telephone and e-mail. I have my office in the Wilmington/Newark area, and have been known to travel for "house calls." I'm known for my patience and ability to listen, balanced by support (I'm also a trained life coach) and effective action. You'll learn how to use my techniques, whenever you need them.

Psychotherapy, whether it be for the individual, the couple, or the family can be an invaluable experience. Psychotherapy can mean coming to a better understanding of yourself—becoming an expert on the self. It can mean understanding others around you and understanding your relationship with them. There are a variety of reasons why people find therapy helpful. In addition to therapy's being instrumental in helping people confront depression, general anxieties, and drug and alcohol abuse, psychotherapy can also be a valuable tool in helping people through particularly stressful transition times. Every person, every family undergoes life transitions. Some transitions are more stressful than others, and the intensity of the stress may depend on a confluence of events. For example, for some, the death or illness of a family member may be the stressor for which they seek help. For others, it is a career change or a geographic move. Other transitions that may precipitate the need for therapy include the birth of a child, the dissolution of a marriage, or “simply” the youngest's leaving home. Such life events marshal changes in our lives and create a disequilibrium. To learn skills to understand and hurdle the disequilibrium, psychotherapy can be of immense and lasting value.

Couples Counseling
It is often that we reach plateaus, milestones and situations that give us pause. Many paths are tried, some successfully, some not, to reach a state of balance and wholeness. Entering into counseling whether for the first or maybe the next time, is an action that will bring you to the next right step. I wholeheartedly congratulate you on taking this next and important action to your own well being and awareness. There are many ways to define success, one of which is balance. Achieving balance will affect all aspects of your life and create a structure that will shape the way that you conduct yourself in the world and the way that the world interacts with and within you. There are many stress related factors that are faced by executives today. Balanced based strategies and the commitment to a whole life success can provide options and avenues for financial, emotional and spiritual fulfillment long though to be mutually exclusive. Finding a therapist who knows the exact nature of these types of challenges and how they affect you can be difficult. As the wife of a Fortune 500 executive I know the challenges and management skills that are required to make a good marriage great and a great career a part of a balanced whole. Join me as I transfer these skills to you so that you can make your life a full and balanced working whole.

Marriage Rescue, Even After Infidelity
Registered, Marriage-Friendly Therapist
My goal in working with your marriage is to make your relationship better than it ever was. I have been In practice for over 35 years helping couples recover from severe marital distress. Are you frustrated in your interactions with someone close? With tens of thousands of hours of listening to intimate stories of relationships, I help people understand what makes relationships work and what happens when they don’t. I am an educator. If you have a mental health problem or think you need medication, you need to speak with a psychologist or psychiatrist. If you have trouble understanding your spouse, or making yourself understood, or you can’t talk with each other without leading to an argument, that’s where I can help. I teach and explain what each of you does or doesn’t do to contribute to your problems. As your understanding grows, I advise you how to influence what happens between you. Think of me as your personal consultant on how you can influence your relationship. I’m not going to change your personality or treat any disorder. But, if you’re having trouble navigating the jungle of arguments, anger and misunderstandings, I can be your guide to show you the path
