I practice in Citrus Springs under ON TRACK KIDS. The program we have is directed at the needs of children, primarily, and includes the entire family. Children and their parents receive a comprehensive program of therapy and training. At ON TRACK KIDS, I do therapy with the children and my husband and I team teach enrichment classes for the parents and kids. He is a retired businessman with a passion for teaching. He has been a high school algebra teacher and a tutor. He has seen first hand the problems children and their families are up against. We both have a passion to be part of making things better. Although we have no magic wand, we both believe with all our hearts that when we choose to accept His help, God will help families in powerful ways beyond the ordinary. He has done extensive work with couples and families at the University of Central Florida’s Marriage and Family Research Institute. He has helped couples learn communication skills and positive methods for conflict resolution. His past work with at risk youth and their families focused on problem solving, coping skills, and lifestyle and behavioral change.

Julie Taylor is Winter Garden's exclusive child therapist. She has been counseling children and their families for over 20 years and has recently joined a Winter Garden private practice, Winter Garden Kids. She specializes in counseling children and uses her sense of humor along with her education and experience to make children and their families feel comfortable while attending their counseling session. Each child and each situation is unique and Julie strives to help each child and parent through their struggles and concerns. Her sole focus is on all things children and is proficient in infant mental health, preschool, elementary along with tweens and teens. Although the practice is located in Winter Garden, she has been working with clients in Windermere, Ocoee, and Clermont as well.
