The Coleman Therapy Center (CTC) is mainly a pediatric therapy center that provides speech and language diagnostics and therapy. CTC therapists provide evaluations and therapy for children with varying disabilities and disorders ranging from apraxia and autism to syndromes and traumatic brain injuries. CTC therapists are trained in a variety of treatment approaches like PROMPT (Hayden), The Listening Program (ABT), and Floortime (Greenspan). NVTRP and CTC Camp: During the summer, the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program (NVTRP) and The Coleman Therapy Center (CTC) pair up for an unforgettable camp experience, which includes therapeutic horseback riding, group speech therapy, and gross/motor sensory play. Hippotherapy: In this therapy program, the speech-language pathologist uses horseback riding movement to facilitate the physiologic systems that support speech and language.
