Increase energy+circulation, reduce stress+accelerate health
Lymph detox preventive lifestyle anti-aging optimal vitality
WHO can benefit? -Anyone who wants a healthier immune system, has excess weight, recovering from surgery, injury or cancer, unsightly scars, adhesion restrictions, digestion issues, IBS, constipation, PMS, sinusitis, headaches, allergies, asthma, fibromyalgia, EBV, detoxing heavy metals, swelling in ankles or fingers, sluggish energy, trouble sleeping, fatigue, brain-fog, depression, +other imbalances. WHAT is Melting Touch Method©? -I combine 6 effective techniques from 27 years of teaching & private practice into a comprehensive approach that treats the FLUID BODY. (1). Lymphatic Drainage massage increases the fluid being filtered by the body's (400-600) lymph nodes, which accelerates waste elimination, increases immune response, and returns the PLASMA of your "internal shower" back into the blood stream. (2). Myo-fascial Release is a gentle, slow realignment of connective tissue that is pain-free resistive pressure and has long term results. (3). Cranial-Sacral accesses the rhythm of cerebral spinal fluid through very light, subtle touch and resets the central nervous system (great for PTSD, after surgery, illness, crisis). (4). Internal Organ Release detoxifies the colon, liver, gall bladder, spleen, lungs, heart, etc through rhythmic pulsing, encouraging & stabilizing their functions. (5). Scar Tissue Softening is a progressive program of cross fiber techniques that can be used immediately after surgery - AND - effectively smooths old scars & disfigurements from injuries, by loosening invisible restrictions in the fascia, thus creating more flexibility. (6). Subtle Energy & Psycho-Emotional Balancing helps adjust the invisible electro-magnetic body, the endocrine/neural-plexus centers (Chakras) and integrates BodyMindSpirit, using breath, sound, intention & awareness. HOW will I feel? -Your will receive a FULL BODYMINDSPIRIT detoxification effect: deep relaxation ("The Rapture" Theta-state), profound sleep, more resiliency, easier breathing, loss of water weight, and great bowel movements. IF YOU ARE VERY TOXIC? it can stir up a healing-crisis with minimal to dramatically increased waste elimination ie: more pooping, peeing, sweating, foul breath, mucus in throat, sweating & skin outbreaks. This will last 24-48 hours, after which you will feel incredibly clean, clear, lighter, more flowing, generally peaceful & able to handle your daily functions.

Experienced with Myofascial work and trigger points
Licensed in both massage and acupuncture and certified in myofacial release,I have over forty years experience. In 90 minute sessions ($155 ) both massage and acupuncture are utilized, with most of the time spent on massage. Currently focusing on trigger points, my massage style integrates myofascial work, Shiatsu, and Swedish massage with the precision and energetic awareness of acupuncture. I can give a very strong massage. People feel comfortable with me because my interpersonal style is very casual, but professional. My practice has included famous authors, Tony, Emmy, and Oscar Award winning artists, professional athletes, scores of dancers, and hundreds of stressed out New Yorkers in pain. Currently my clinical focus is on trigger points, which cause seventy-five percent of all orthopedic pain, and on utilizing modern techniques to de-activate trigger points. I'm developing new protocols, which integrate ancient Chinese acupuncture and neuromuscular massage to treat past insults (physical, mental traumas) that are imprinted in the myofascial/nervous system, causing patterns of pain. Jeff is especially gifted at making people feel comfortable. His interpersonal style is very casual, but professional. His practice has included Tony and Emmy Award winning artists, movie actors, various creative geniuses, and hundreds of stressed out people in pain.

When was the last time your body felt as young as your mind? Been awhile? Massage can relieve tension, improve your physical health, and give you more energy to face life's challenges. By releasing tension around habitually poor posture, such as hunched shoulders or tight jaws, massage can actually reinforce positive feelings. At Integrated Bodyworks we do not charge for extras. That if you want aromatherapy or reiki, or even reflexology, it is always included in your massage for one price. Quality bodywork is the result of integrating different complementary modalities as needed. It requires attention to what the client needs in the moment. Each client that comes to me receives everything I have to offer. Period! No up-charges, no add'on's, no surprises; just a warm table with calming music and strong hands that intuitively read the body and know where more attention is needed. Both therapeutic and relaxing, massage is meant to revive the soul while healing the body! "Therapeutic Cupping" is a modality I practice in my clinic. Instead of pressing down on the body as with traditional massage, cupping uses a vacuum like affect. Separating muscle fibers, and allowing new blood to enter and break down adhesion or knots quicker for a both relaxing and therapeutic massage. Ask me about Facial Rejuvenation! I invite you to my table for a therapeutic and relaxing bodywork.

Therapeutic Bodywork in a context of Traditional ThaiMassage
Thai Massage soothes the body, quiets the mind.
As a graduate of the Swedish Institute I have developed strong skills in both Western and Eastern styles of massage. My training has given me a solid knowledge base in the biosciences, and an emphasis on integration of these components into practical applications. The study of anatomy, physiology and pathology has provided me with the foundation needed to develop confident therapeutic skills. Before my decision to specialize in Thai Massage, I studied and practiced Swedish massage and have integrated advanced Western modalities such as medical massage, sports massage, myofascial techniques and trigger point therapy. Five-Element Shiatsu provides an Eastern perspective which emphasizes the flow of Qi, or energy, through the body. Eastern and Western modalities are incorporated into my work. Clinical strategies, assessment and ethics are also a part of my professional development. My initial goal upon beginning a career in massage therapy was to practice medical massage. In the last semester at Swedish Institute, we were asked to choose electives. During the first five weeks of the semester I studied Thai Massage. I will always remember exactly how my partner was stretching me when I decided that this modality is superior to all those that I had previously been exposed to. That same day I began to make plans to study in Thailand. If you are a fellow massage therapist who has an interest in Thai Massage, feel free to enquire in an email message about working together to extend this wonderful tradition. I periodically get requests for couples massage and would like to increase my options for practitioners to work with.

Relax, Refresh, Rejuvenate!

Preventative care, holistic treatment and therapy and inside/out beauty addressing the whole Body, Mind and Spirit dynamic. Therapies, classes and workshops are designed to promote the health and well being of each individual client. Services are performed in an inviting atmosphere where you can relax with soothing sights, sounds and caressing aromas. Relaxation is the key to transformation and you will begin to look, move, think, and feel like a new person. You will begin to enjoy life to its fullest and find your “Bliss”. The Benefits Of Massage Alleviate low-back pain and improve range of motion. Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays. Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body's natural defense system. Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles. Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts. Improve the condition of the body's largest organ—the skin. Increase joint flexibility. Lessen depression and anxiety. Promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks. Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation. Reduce postsurgery adhesions and swelling. Reduce spasms and cramping. Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles. Release endorphins—amino acids that work as the body's natural painkiller. Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. While eliminating anxiety and pressure altogether in this fast-paced world may be idealistic, massage can, without a doubt, help manage stress. This translates into: Decreased anxiety. Enhanced sleep quality. Greater energy. Improved concentration. Increased circulation. Reduced fatigue. Reiki is a great and valuable healing tool. It knows exactly where to go, how to respond and how to eliminate restrictions to the flow of Ki (ENERGY). Reiki goes directly to the tissues and organs affected by low Ki and it also works on the conscienceless parts of the mind and body that contain negative thoughts and feelings eliminating them. Reiki flows to where it is need to break up and dissolve any negativity lodged in the body or mind allowing for a healthy flow of Ki to resume. As Reiki energy flows through the body a deep state of relaxation occurs allowing spirit, mind and body to be nourished and balanced replacing illness with harmony and health.
