Divorce Specialist: There is a better and cheaper way to DIVORCE!!!!! As a registered psychotherapist and divorce specialist, Minni supports families and individuals navigating divorce with dignity and respect, helping them to make decisions that are in the best interests of their children. She assists parents with the emotional piece and communication skills to allow parents to work together before and after the divorce. Minni can help build a sustainable parenting plan that clarifies decision making, access schedule and all other issues supporting the well-being of their children and draft it to include in the separation agreement. This can save families hundreds to thousands of dollars, a lot of time, and emotional strain.
Minni believes that helping and supporting parents work through their concerns, fears and stress throughout the separation/divorce process, channeling conflict away from the family, promotes healthier and happier children.
Psychotherapy/Counselling: Minni has been of service to the community for over 20 years including experience working with women's shelter, rape crisis centre, high schools, and hospices. She has extensive counselling insights involving individuals, youth, and couples and groups experiencing divorce/separation, grief/bereavement, blended/step-families, crisis counselling, youth, cross-cultural issues, women's issues and healthy relationships.
Collaborative Family Professional: For couples facing separation and divorce, Minni works as part of a multi-disciplinary collaborative team to offer clients the best and most economical path. This a team approach that includes lawyers, financial professionals and mental health practitioners who are committed to assisting separating couples to resolve their family law disputes a better way. Although the collaborative approach adds more people, it does not add more dollars to a divorce, especially compared to litigation.
