EMDR Therapist for Trauma, Anxiety & Dissociation
When past experiences linger, you may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to manage your emotions or reactions. If you’ve experienced childhood trauma/abuse, or grief and loss, you may feel anxious, on edge, or disconnected from yourself and others. You might notice racing thoughts, irritability, difficulty sleeping, or feeling stuck in survival mode. Triggers, emotional shutdown, or dissociation can make it hard to feel safe or present. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, and dissociation, helping you reconnect, feel grounded, and regain a sense of control over yourself and life.
Together, we’ll work to reduce overwhelm, manage intense emotions, and navigate triggers or dissociation. We’ll build practical tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and stronger relationships. Therapy will help you feel more present in your body, grounded, and in control, while creating personalized goals to support your healing and growth.
My approach is collaborative, affirming, and nonjudgmental. You set the pace, and your voice matters. I strive to create a space that feels calming & supportive; where meaningful change can happen in a way that feels authentic to you. These skills are adapted for youth, using play therapy. If this resonates, I invite you to reach out to get started.
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me spending time with my dogs, at the gym, or diving into a good book or a new topic that sparks my curiosity.
