I offer individual fifty-minute weekly sessions for both time-focused counselling and longer-term individual psychotherapy. I also offer more frequent sessions (up to five per week) on an occasional or on-going basis, subject to availability. My fees for individual sessions range from £60 to £120 depending on the time and frequency of sessions. I charge £60 for a 45 minute consultation. I offer couples fifty minute sessions, with fees ranging from £80 - £120 (£120 for consultations). Fees are payable by cash or cheque at each session, or by cash, cheque or BACS transfer on an advance schedule. If you are unable attend a schedueled session, I may be able to offer you alternative session times within the same working week, subject to availability and given notice of at least one week. Otherwise, I charge for all missed and cancelled sessions once we agreed a session timetable. Sessions begin and end on time and, since I have no waiting room facilities, please arrive no more than a couple of minutes before your session is due to begin. I have a general adult out-patient practice. I have 24 years of clinical experience working with adults and families, specializing in adolescent psychology and women's issues. I am also trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), a highly effective model for helping parents deal with disruptive behavior disorders in young children. My clinical specialty is trauma (sexual trauma in particular), and mood disorders. My theoretical orientation is humanistic, but I use many cognitive therapy tools and mindfulness-based techniques as well. Although I address the problem that brings clients to see me, I focus also on identifying each client's strengths and using those strengths to address the challenges they face.

He has provided training to other Mental Health Prfessionals and has experience teaching at the graduate level. His reviews of books and other resources has been published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. His approach is comprehensive, recognizing the importance of the whole person and offering genuine caring and support to his clients.
