Expert Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
Ganey Counseling & Consultation is a small private practice located in Central Bucks County PA. We strive to see clients become healthy individuals and families that are learning how to care for theirselves on their journey of life. We work from a Cognitive-Behavioral perspective that emphasizes clients learning more about what they believe about theirself that may be conscious or unconscious and drives thoughts, choices, reactions, emotions and view of life. As clients learn how to know and understand their beliefs and values and the impact these have on life, they are better able to assess the health of their beliefs and values and make changes where necessary so that they achieve sustainable changes in life. Our goal is to treat the whole person, couple or family. To that end we attempt to work closely with primary care physicians, nutritionists, psychiatrists and other providers to meet all the needs of our clients. We are working to bring together in one office building in the next year a family medical practice, physical therapists and medical specialists from a local hospital. GCC is currently comprised of; Dr. Kevin Ganey, a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in Children and Adolescent treatment, anxiety, adjustment, depression, ASD, eating disorders, educational concerns, and psychological assessment. Dr. Warren Saul, a licensed professional counselor, who specializes in couples; premarital and marital counseling, trauma, grief and the integration of religious and psychological values. Hilde McKernan, MS, LPC. She works with adolescents and young adults with anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment and development. We are credentialed with Aetna, Highmark BCBS and United Healthcare.

Come Walk with Us!
Living your best life happens one step at a time. Today's overabundant, often conflicting stream of health information leaves many of us feeling overwhelmed and confused about how to eat and live in a way that makes us happy. I help by offering an integrative approach to food and nutrition, looking at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at work or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect the whole, and then create a practical plan to start taking steps toward the healthy life you desire. Recognizing the value of your unique life experience and body needs, you receive individualized health and wellness programs that help you make lasting changes. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, lifelong education, physical activity and a happy soul are all essential forms of nourishment. When these "primary foods" are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. Take your fist step toward the happy and healthy life you deserve today! ------- About Guidance for Growing: Guidance for Growing is an integrative wellness practice built to support personal growth.
